| The St. Louis Area Business
Health Coalition (BHC) represents employers
in their collective efforts to create a value-driven
health care market. |
|
|
| BHC pledges
its support of the Department of Health
and Human Services' (HHS) Four Cornerstones
of Value-Driven Health Care. The federal government
has launched a concerted effort to motivate
America’s health care system to provide
better care for less money. Understanding
that health care value must be improved community
by community leads to the recognition that
business has a critical role to play in shaping
local health care markets. |
|
|
| The National Coalition
on Benefits (NCB) is dedicated to working
with Congress to maintain employers' ability
to provide uniform health and retirement benefits
to employees and retirees across state and
local lines and to ensure that federal health
reform initiatives preserve Employee Retirement
Income Security Act (ERISA) benefits. NCB
is recruiting organizations to join the coalition
and the BHC would like to see St. Louis employers
participate. There is no obligation of time
or money, simply support of the mission. To
learn more, the NCB mission statement and
membership form is available at http://coalitiononbenefits.org. |
